Payment Information

FINANCIAL POLICIES

PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS

Tuition and fees for the entire semester must be paid on the day of registration or arrangements made for such payments. A deferred payment plan requires one-fourth of the amount due at registration and remaining three-fourth due over the next three months. Students who pay in full by cash or check at registration will receive a 5 percent discount.

TBI will not honor a request for transfer of credits until financial obligations are completely satisfied.

REFUNDS

Students who desire to withdraw from TBI must first notify the Registrar of their intentions. Refunds will be granted according to the official date of withdrawal. Ceasing to attend class or notifying the professor does not constitute official withdrawal. Tuition refunds will be as follows:

  • First week 80 percent
  • Second week 60 percent
  • Third week 40 percent
  • Over three weeks No refund

FINANCIAL AID

Through the generosity of friends, churches and alumni, TBI offers quality education and services at the lowest possible cost. Additional funding is available from Federal and state programs for qualified applicants. To determine eligibility, students need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applications are available at high school guidance offices. Submission of application begins January 1 of each year.
