Post Graduate Degree Program

Every student in the Masters degree program must have a Biblical Education core minimum of 39 semester hours. To this Biblical Education core are added general and professional education courses. These courses are chosen by students according to their areas of emphasis. Two-thirds of all credit earned must be from Triangle Bible Institute.

Because the Institute is also a school of graduate study, prospective students need to meet minimum academic prerequisites consistent with graduate school standards. These minimum standards are as follows:

  1. A Bachelors degree in any field or its equivalent is required for entrance into all programs. For applicants to the Th.M. program, a Master of Divinity degree from TBI or a recognized seminary is also required. The prospective student is responsible for having complete transcripts of all post-high school credit sent directly from the institution(s) to Triangle Bible Institute Registrar’s office.
  2. All new students who have enrolled in Triangle Bible Institute at the start of the fall 2010 semester must satisfy credit requirements (new standards) as delineated in the post graduate degree programs. All students who were enrolled in Triangle Bible Institute programs prior to the fall 2010 semester will satisfy credit requirements under the old standards (grandfathered-in).
  3. A grade point average of 2.5 or above, or a score of 800 or above on a Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test (verbal and analytical) is required.

MINISTERIAL TRACK

This suggested track is at the Masters level. To qualify for these courses, candidates must have a Bachelors degree as stated above. However, special considerations will take into account lifestyle achievements, work related rewards, and activity in other church ministries. These considerations will be on a case-by-case basis.
